Carl F. Bucherer is a Swiss watch company founded in 1888. Based in Lucerne, Switzerland, manufactures luxury mechanical watches. Something very particular about Bucherer in that it has been wholly owned by the Bucherer family, founding by the luxury Swiss watchmaker Carl F. Bucherer and still running by the original family's third generation, with Jörg G. Bucherer on board.

BUCHERER 17 Jewels Swiss Watch Ladies Wristwatch
This is an interesting timepiece, a vintage Bucherer ladies wristwatch dated from the 1980's. It is a manual wind watch powered by an original Bucherer movement, 17 jewels, caliber FEF 6664, unadjusted, Swiss made.
It still has the original gray textured dial with gold matching hands. The dial is signed with the Bucherer name and logo on top.
Cased in a 29.2x33.6mm hexagonal case shape, stainless steel back. The case is internally screwed to the bracelet by two screws that match perfectly. The bracelet is in stainless steel and is covered internally by leather. It will fit a wrist up to 7 1/2" (19.1cm).
It is in very good condition. Runs very well and keeps great time!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
The condition is pre-owned. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended. Please review the photos and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
